Here is what my poi looks like. They are Zeekio Led Poi that I got on ebay for about $14.
flowtoys.com has great poi pod that lights up and are rechargeable. However, they are expensive by being $99.95.
moonhoops.com has this event more expensive type of poi that is rechargeable and comes with a remote that costs $279.
homeofpoi.com has poi that you can light on fire. I would only recommend doing this once you have mastered doing poi without fire.
I know a poi dancer named Chris Murphy (Druid) that gives lessons on poi with or without fire for about $25 an hour. Here is his Facebook.
